About Me

Meet Jen

Hi there! I'm Jen! I am a Christian, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and Dog Mom to a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Ava.

Whenever I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would always say I wanted to be a teacher. I was drawn to the field due to having such great guidance and support from my grade school teachers. Their caring and compassionate nature really shined through. I, too, wanted to help others learn and grow into their best selves!

Fast forward many years, and here I am blessed to be using my degree in Public Health Education and professional experience in research/evaluation to support expectant parents in their pregnancy and parenthood journey. By working together, you will become informed, prepared, and confident to have the most memorable birth experience!

I cannot wait for us to meet!

Birth Philosophy

se·rene: calm, peaceful, and untroubled; tranquil.

hope·ful: feeling or inspiring optimism about a future event.

I know women and their birth partners have the ability to have a celebratory and transformative experience!

I believe that the most important aspect of pregnancy, labor, and birth is to be present during the journey. Take a second and think about how you want to feel during your labor, birth, and postpartum period. Prioritizing those feelings are what leads to a positive birth experience. With my informative classes and individualized support, I guide my expectant parents to remove anxious feelings of birth and replace them with feelings of serenity and hope.

"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."- Romans 15:13
